Layered Reality is looking to expand our creative & dedicated team of volunteers once again and we are looking for someone to take up the social media and streaming side of our label's activities on a volunteer basis.

What are we looking for?

- affinity & knowledge for progressive metal music

- experience in social media content creation (or willingness to learn!)

- expereience in social media promotion & sales (or willingness to learn)

- networking & social skills

- proper spoken & written communication in English (Dutch is a nice extra! Bonuspoints for Spanish!)

- a few hours of your time per week.

What will you get when you work with us?

You will become a part of a small team of dedicated progmetal lovers that want to help artists and bands grow and become the best versions of themselves that they can be. Our roster is ever growing and we want to share that passion and excitement with you!

For immediate release: The Progmetal Pantheon Hour will start in February 2021!

We are beyond excited to start this new adventure in online radio, which is aimed at promoting upcoming progressive metal acts who you have not heard yet. We feel that there is so much music out there that deserves to be heard that doesnt get the chance in today's landscape dominated by big names competing for attention. So here we want to give back to the community, by creating a place that fosters new talent!

This show will be made monthly and will be uploaded to our youtube channel for everyone to hear. Uploads will be planned around the 20th of each month.

Today we celebrate the physical release of TDW's 'The Days the Clock Stopped'!

It has been a long journey indeed, but from today onwards, the new TDW album ‘The Days The Clock Stopped’ is available worldwide in it’s CD/DVD digibook format!
The album was released digitally on the 4th of December 2020, but had to be delayed physically due to Covid-19 delaying the album’s production.

It’s finally out now and here’s what Tom had to say about this event:
“Finally, the album is now available to the masses through distro’s worldwide! This album, documentary and everything surrounding it has really been a trip and a half to complete, so I am glad to see that it will now find it’s way to the fans! Next step: getting the vinyl in order, because (as is tradition for this album by now) that also still needs to happen, haha!”
As stated above, the album will also be released on a strictly limited vinyl release which is slated to be released in the first half of 2021!

Fans of Avandra and progmetal in general may want to pay attention, as the band has announced a limited edition vinyl run for their 2020 album Skylighting!
The vinyl will be available in Black (250 pieces), Sea Blue (125 pieces) & Transparent Deep Purple (125 pieces).

2020 was a rough, difficult year for all of us, but also a where music thrived on multiple fronts.
A lot of great releases came out through the whole year, and it still doesn't end.

As for the label itself, we can look back upon a great year of releases of Bioplan, Dreamwalkers Inc, IDEK., Soul Secret, Avandra and last but not least, Tom de Wit's own personal story with TDW Music & Visions. All releases were received well by both fans and press alike, and it feels good to contribute to the progscene by releasing all this music to the public!
We are very happy and proud of each and everyone that has been involved with our journey this year and on behalf of the Layered Reality team, all the artists and bands!
